In my position in the district as a Common Core Coach, I was charged with the task of helping to find resources to bring to all stakeholders in my district to up to speed on the new standards. This bundle of resources has been a great asset to differentiating how the word is spread. The PowerPoint and activities are useful when the principals want to hear about the change and what they should be looking for versus addressing them as teachers in the classroom. Some of the slides show how power of the "shift" as it pertains to the leaders in the district. This entire bundle has been used in its entirety in the district as well as to show specific points to the very important leaders that just want to know the "what" and the "how." Principals still refer to these slides and worksheets when addressing the plans for the district and their buildings. One principal stated, 'I really like how this presentation was not watered-down but it gave us real material that we can use when we leave!' "
