This lesson focuses on 8.EE.8.c and 8.EE.8.a:  solving problems leading to simultaneous equations and understanding that points of intersection on a graph indicated solutions. Students work in small groups to determine which movie rental/streaming company offers the best deal for movie watching. Students consider the information given and find ways to prove their thinking. Core Actions 2 and 3 are strongly exhibited in this lesson.
