Vincent Segalini

ELA/Literacy Specialist, Tools and Classroom Resources

Vincent Segalini is an ELA/Literacy Specialist on the Tools and Classroom Resources team at Student Achievement Partners. Prior to joining the team, Vinnie served as the State Assessment Director for the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), where he was directly involved with each state assessment program and led the development of the Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP), a teacher-created statewide assessment program, for both English Language Arts and math. Before that, Vinnie served as the state English Language Arts director at MDE where he led the implementation of the Common Core State Standards and, later, the Mississippi College- and Career Readiness standards for ELA statewide. Vinnie was a classroom teacher in New Hampshire and Mississippi for 14 years prior to his service at MDE. He holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Rivier University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.
