What I Work On: I’m a Designer at Student Achievement Partners. I focus a lot of my time on how we use our website, resources, and communications to reach, support, learn from, and engage people who we may never get to meet in person.

Why I Work Here: I believe that a coherent, researched, carefully curated set of standards can play a significant role in setting high expectations for all students and in helping all students become critical thinkers capable of expressing their ideas, both of which are critical to creating access to equitable opportunities and active participation in our democracy. I remain committed to these ideals in service of the work we must to do to ensure they are implemented in ways that honor and celebrate student identities.

More About Me: I spend a lot of time walking around Brooklyn, NY with my husband and dogs. I’m a city person at heart, but I spend as much time as possible outdoors and in nature.

A Quote That Inspires Me: “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” – James Baldwin
