Glenna Sigmon

Glenna Sigmon lives in St. Lucie County, Florida, with her husband and two children. She currently serves as an instructional coach for literacy and school improvement at Port St. Lucie High School, with previous turnaround-school experience in Title I K–5 elementary schools. Glenna became a Florida Core Advocate in 2016 after attending The Standards Institute by UnboundEd in search of instructional tools and resources to empower her teachers and students to meet high academic standards. Most recently, Glenna graduated from Leadership Florida’s Education Class 5 where she was connected with other leaders in education to effect change in her state. Glenna’s work is guided by a will to succeed in closing the achievement gap and providing high-quality instruction for all students in St. Lucie County and beyond.
