Who are Core Advocates?
Core Advocates are a diverse community of educators committed to advancing equitable and high-quality education for all students. Representing various roles, communities, and expertise, Core Advocates are united by shared values and a dedication to transformative education. Core Advocates:
- Believe in the power of evidence-based, standards-aligned instruction as a means to prepare all students for future opportunities.
- Embrace and implement instructional practices that are culturally responsive, linguistically sustaining, asset-based, and joyful, in alignment with SAP’s e² Instructional Practice Framework™.
- Commit to centering the brilliance and assets of historically underserved students—including those impacted by systemic inequities such as racism and poverty—in their classrooms and school systems.
- Lead the way in shifting instructional practices within their schools and districts to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and capable.
Core Advocates also play a vital role in amplifying SAP’s mission by sharing tools and resources, such as the e² Instructional Practice Framework™ and its supporting materials. By contributing their insights and experiences, Core Advocates inspire and equip educators nationwide to create transformative educational environments.
