  • Description
  • Files

Like his Aleut ancestors, Alex continues the tradition of catching salmon, during their spawning at Kodiak Island in Alaska, to feed family and friends who are not able to fish for themselves. With Alex’s efforts he then gets to enjoy his favorite Aleut traditional snack, ‘tamuuq’, made from dried halibut. (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Reading, 2005)
