Katie Key Thomas is a graduate student in the University of California-Irvine’s Master of Arts in Teaching program. Katie has teaching experience in 2^nd and 6^th grade classrooms in diverse elementary schools in Orange County, CA. Before moving to California, Katie received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Public Health degree from the Colorado School of Public Health. Katie’s interests include equitable education and social justice; engaging in inquiry research in her classroom; student well-being; and integrating learning theory with practice.
