I've been teaching high school math for nine years at Ridgeview Classical Schools, a place where I am free to engage my students in the most thought-provoking and challenging math problems available. I always aim to teach like Socrates - by questioning - and to give my students the chance to think things through for themselves. My classes are always evolving as my experience grows because I am always looking for better ways to captivate my students with the beauty and logic of mathematics. Students do a lot of the explaining in my classes, and I always look for ways to reveal both the historical roots and the modern uses of the concepts.
