- Files
"Jalapeño Bagels" is a story about a young bi-cultural boy named Pablo on a search to find a dish to bring to school for International Day. Pablo agrees to go with his Mexican mother and Jewish father to their family bakery in order to prepare a dish to take to school. However, he has a difficult time deciding what to take because none of these individual dishes include his full heritage. (Pearson Reading Street, 2010)
