What I Work On: In my role as a Director, I work alongside my fellow SAP team members and our partners on challenging questions and projects primarily focusing on areas of research and evaluation.

Why I Work Here: Growing up in a family of educators, I believe education has the power to be life-changing. However, for far too many young people, especially those who are marginalized by our country and educational system, we have not made good on education’s promise. At SAP, I have the privilege of learning every day and working on tough problems that matter with talented, passionate, and brilliant colleagues and partners.

My Education and Experience: Prior to joining Student Achievement Partners, I worked at the New York City Department of Education as an Executive Director, and am a former management consultant at Deloitte Consulting. I hold a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from Boston College and an MBA in nonprofit management and operations from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

More About Me: My husband, two young children and I live near Seattle, the traditional land of the Coast Salish people, appreciating daily the natural wonders of the pacific northwest.

A Quote That Inspires Me: “If we want to see change in our lives, we have to change things ourselves.” – Grace Lee Boggs
