Tara Martinez

What I Work On: As the Senior Grants and Internal Communications Manager, I lead our grant development efforts and help craft our internal and external messaging to ensure we’re effectively communicating how we work and who we serve at all times. 

Why I Work Here: At SAP, I get to combine my passion for storytelling with my firm belief that education and opportunity can, and should, go hand in hand. My own education served as a channel through which I could explore innumerable interests and possibilities and ultimately realize my own potential. All kids should have that same experience. 

My Education and Experience: Prior to joining Student Achievement Partners in 2018, I honed my communications skills in a variety of marketing and editorial roles. I hold a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University.

More About Me: I love animals and old movies (pre-1960, particularly of the French and German variety).
