Jessi Harris

Jessi Harris is currently a second grade teacher at Glenwood Elementary in Kentwood Public Schools. She has also been a teacher leader at her school for the past three years through Leading Educators, a nonprofit organization focused on building systems and human resources that surround, promote, and support equitable education. Jessi earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. She is extremely passionate about ensuring that all students have access to equitable educational experiences regardless of their circumstances. In her free time, she likes to travel with her husband, read, and stay active.
