What I Work On: As a designer at Student Achievement Partners, I work alongside colleagues and educators on centering students as the capable and fantastic learners and doers of mathematics that they are.
Why I Work Here: I started working at Student Achievement Partners in 2015. I do this work because I am able to support educators in not only implementing standards but also in creating welcoming and supportive classrooms and schools. SAP is a place where I can work toward a world where all students, across all sectors, engage in content in meaningful and responsive ways to show their true brilliance. After all, true success is measured by more than one test score.
My Education and Experience: Before joining Student Achievement Partners, I spent 18 years in mathematics teaching, instructional coaching, and administration. I taught pre-service and in-service teachers and administrations at the college level, served on the Board of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council, and currently serve as a Regional Director on the Board of NCSM. I have a BA in Art History from St. Olaf College, teaching certification coursework from University of St. Thomas and a master's in curriculum and instruction from Viterbo University.
More About Me: Forever drawn to the beauty of the Great Lakes, I currently reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
