For this session, we welcomed Vanessa Luna, for a discussion on Supporting Immigrant and Undocumented Students and their Families. Vanessa is the Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer at ImmSchools. She immigrated from Lima, Peru at the age of ten, and was the first one in her family to graduate from college. Vanessa's undocumented experience deeply impacted her career choice and inform her work at ImmSchools developing best practices and creating resources for transforming schools into safe and welcoming spaces for undocumented students and families.
